FORMIS II -project with co-operation of VNFOREST and FPD organised a workshop to review the forest cover change data entry for 2016 in Region 1 and Region 2 provinces (Thanh Hoa, Ha Tinh, Bac Kan, Son La, Thai Nguyen, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh and Ha Giang). The workshop was held in Ha Noi on 5th of April 2017. The workshop included presentations of each province providing feedback of deployment results and application development need. Project Director Dr. Ngai moderate the meeting with the project CTA Tapio Leppänen. Project and VNFOREST were pleased to hear that data entry was completed in each province and each province is at the moment finalising their forest cover reports for the approval process.
