- GIS team members are capable/ competent to process GIS issues faced in FRMS support in future

- GIS team are able to support provinces in the forest resource database data quality improvement in future

Increased competence of forest authorities at national, regional, provincial and local levels in using and maintaining selected FORMIS applications. 63 provinces have two capable trainers for FRMS. Provinces have capacity to train district and commune level people to feed attribute and spatial data to FORMIS system. 

  • Clarification of the NFIS and forest monitoring reportingIncreased capacity of provincial and central TOT trainers to use and train the developed functionalities of FRMS. 
  • Improved trainers knowledge and skills on the upgraded workflow of the application
  • Trainers’ improved training skills and have competence to coach district rangers to update the forest monitoring and generate the forest cover changes reports for 2016.
  • Increased capacity of data administration skills in central, regional and provincial level
